AGBU MONTREAL
ARMENIAN STUDIES PROGRAM

2004/2005

The Armenian Studies program at AGBU Montreal, operating under the leadership of Mr. Manuel Keusseyan, recently completed its 2nd year. The lecture series extended from November 2004 to June of 2005. The lectures were offered every Wednesday from 7 to 10 p.m., in the Demirdjian Hall of the Alex Manoogian Center.

The program was created as a result of a shared vision among national benefactor Mr. Jirair Dervishian, the AGBU Montreal leadership and poet, literary expert and Armenian studies lecturer Mr. Manuel Keusseyan. This year as well, it created an enthusiastic and inspiring atmosphere among the attendees.

This year, the lecture series were dedicated to the 1600th anniversary of invention of the Armenian alphabet by Sourp Mesrob, and to the 90th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
