The Armenian Studies program at
AGBU Montreal, operating under the l

eadership of Mr.
Manuel Keusseyan, recently completed its 2
nd
year. The lecture series extended from November 2004
to June of 2005. The lectures were offered every Wednesday
from 7 to 10 p.m., in the Demirdjian Hall of the Alex
Manoogian Center.
The program was created as a result of a shared vision
among national benefactor Mr. Jirair Dervishian, the
AGBU Montreal leadership and poet, literary expert
and Armenian studies lecturer Mr. Manuel Keusseyan.
This year as well, it created an enthusiastic and
inspiring atmosphere among the attendees.
This year, the lecture series were dedicated to the
1600
th anniversary of invention of the
Armenian alphabet by Sourp Mesrob, and to the 90
th
anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
