On May 13, 2007. at the AGBU center in Montreal, Arpie Dadoyan  performed  her solo show in the Armenian language.
After the success of her previous show “Ayp Pen Kim,” which she presented in Montreal three years ago, Arpie wrote and performed her second show “Tayen Fe” last March for the Armenian Women’s Association of Canada on the occasion of International Women’s Day.
For the May 13 event, Arpie will perform a new version of both shows as well as never before seen material for the first time.   From the Middle East to the Americas, autobiographical vignettes reflect traditions, some of which continue to this day, dialects from Arpie’s Dyarbekir heritage, and the tribulations of being an Armenian woman.  With humor and songs Arpie will do what she does best.  Tell stories.
Confesses Arpie “for me, as a performer, there is nothing more rewarding than the sound of laughter.  I hope to hear a lot of that on Mother’s Day.”
