1. INTERNATIONAL NIGHT    8   8  JUNE 17, 2006

On June 17^th 2006,  AGBU Roof Fund Raising and Social Committees held a fundraiser  dance party namely   “INTERNATIONAL NIGHT”.    The purpose of this event was to raise
some money for the roof renovation. As mentioned in the opening speech by Mrs. Rahel Ourfalian, who added also that "...the Roof Fund Raising Organizing committee which is  headed by AGBU Honorary member and former chairman Mr. Boghos Kichian,  is absent today as he is out of town, thanked him specially and the whole organizers..."     The Social committee dedicated their time in preparing
the meal with various mezzes for the 235 attending guests.    D.J. Sako  voluntarily
provided the music, creating a fun filled evening on the dance floor.   An added surprise
during the course of the night  was AGBU’s oriental dance teacher, Yasmin , who exhibited a few belly dances  with some of her students.     With the support of  all who attended the dance and with the generosity  the evening’s honorary guest, Mr. & Mrs. Harma & Janine Koolian,   the event was very successful  and left a good profit to aide for the renovation of the roof. And finally it was announced that the Lotteries, for the Center's Roof  Fund Raising project, are still available, for whoever wishes to encourage that also, to be in contact with AGBU office.
